Yostar has confirmed that Stella Sora will launch on Steam on October 20, following the announcement during the game’s first-anniversary livestream. The gacha RPG’s upcoming Steam version will support cross-platform progress synchronization, allowing players to continue their adventures across Android, iOS, the existing PC client, and Steam.
According to the announcement, game content, events, and updates will remain consistent across all supported platforms. Existing players with a Stella Sora Global account can also continue using their previously linked login methods without having to start a new game.
Stella Sora Steam Version Login Options and Payment Details
The Steam version will support login through email, Google, Apple, and Steam accounts. However, in-game purchases will exclusively use Steam Wallet, although item prices will remain the same as on other platforms.
Players should also note that accounts from the Japanese, South Korean, Chinese, and Taiwanese servers cannot be used to access the Global version on Steam.
Additionally, Steam account login is not currently supported on the Google Play, iOS, or existing PC client versions. Yostar therefore recommends linking accounts through email for players who want to move between platforms more conveniently.
How to Sync Existing Stella Sora Accounts
Players who encounter missing progress or find themselves starting with a new account after launching the Steam version may have selected a different login method from the one associated with their existing game data.
For accounts linked through email, players can check their registered address by opening Settings, Account, and User Center on their previous device. They should then use the same email address when logging in through Steam.
Players who linked their accounts through Google or Apple must select the corresponding service icon on the Steam login screen. Meanwhile, those who previously played as guests need to link their accounts to an email address, Google, or Apple before their progress can be synchronized.
Account linking can be managed through Settings, Account, and User Center, where players can select Bind Other Accounts to connect or unlink their Steam account. Email linking is also available through Bind Email, which allows players to sign in using a verification code.
Yostar emphasizes that cross-platform synchronization only works when players use the same account and the login method associated with their existing game data.
With its Steam debut arriving on October 20, Stella Sora players will have another way to enjoy the RPG while maintaining their progress across supported platforms, provided their accounts are linked correctly.
