Arknights: Endfield is officially expanding its PC presence as the 3D real-time strategy RPG prepares to launch on Steam on October 15. The game was previously available through GRYPHLINE’s official GRYPHLINK launcher and the Epic Games Store. Steam players will also benefit from cross-platform progression, allowing them to continue their progress across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
The Steam release will coincide with the launch of the game’s next major free update, titled “Sanctuary Ink.” The update introduces a mysterious new setting known as Si’s Painting, a strange landscape created by the Feranmut Proxy Si. Players will explore the painted world while investigating unusual phenomena and uncovering a storyline connected to events from approximately a decade earlier.
The update will also introduce new Operators, including Argent Flow, who combines sword and spear attacks with mounted combat. His ultimate ability allows him to charge into battle alongside his warhorse, Nuli, before delivering a powerful aerial finishing attack. The new Operators will become available through successive recruitment events.

Players looking for additional challenges can return to the Indigo Experimental Operation, which receives new challenges and combat modifiers. New enemy attack patterns will also add more variety to battles and require players to adapt their strategies.
For players who prefer a slower-paced activity, Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves offers a more relaxed experience. This new activity allows players to manage a countryside inn, cultivate crops, raise animals, and prepare different meals.
“Sanctuary Ink” also delivers numerous quality-of-life improvements. The AIC Factory and regional development systems are being streamlined with easier facility placement and improved farming features. A new Top View mode, more efficient planting layouts, and the Auto-Farmer facility should make resource management more convenient.

Combat improvements include better enemy targeting and customizable priorities for combo skills. Progression is also being enhanced through Gear Plans and faster gear assembly for artificing.
Additional improvements include easier clue collection, new Operator shift rotations, improved navigation when visiting friends, and expanded controller support. The update even adds more environmental interaction, with fallen leaves responding dynamically to Operator movement, abilities, and wind.
With its Steam debut and the substantial Sanctuary Ink update arriving simultaneously, Arknights: Endfield is set to offer both new and returning players plenty of content to explore on October 15.
