Nintendo has officially announced the Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, its tactical RPG available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. The paid DLC is now available through the Nintendo eShop for $34.99, while a bundle containing the base game and Expansion Pass is priced at $104.99.
The additional content will arrive in three waves, introducing new weapons, playable allies, costumes, and an entirely new story scheduled for 2027. The first wave is already available, giving players immediate access to additional equipment inspired by another entry in the franchise.
Wave 1: Heroes’ Relics Weapons
The first content wave adds four weapons inspired by the Heroes’ Relics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. These weapons provide an early addition to the game’s combat options, drawing inspiration from equipment associated with the previous installment.
Players can access this content now by purchasing the Expansion Pass through the Nintendo eShop.
Wave 2: New Allies and Costumes
The second wave is planned for the holiday season at the end of 2026. Although Nintendo has not confirmed an exact release date, the upcoming content will introduce additional costumes and three new allied characters: Aurora, Smyrnos, and Jurah.
The new characters are expected to expand the available roster, while the additional outfits will offer more customization options. Further details about their abilities and roles have yet to be revealed.
Wave 3: New Story Arrives in 2027
The third wave will be the largest planned addition to the Expansion Pass. Scheduled for 2027, it will feature a new story focusing on Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel, and Anatolia.
Alongside the additional narrative, players can expect new allies, character classes, and other content. Nintendo has not yet shared further information about the story’s plot or the specific gameplay features included in this final wave.
Version 1.1.0 Update Released
Alongside the DLC announcement, Nintendo has released version 1.1.0 for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. The update adds Expansion Pass support and places a link to the DLC’s Nintendo eShop page on the game’s title screen.
With the first wave available now and two more planned for the coming months, the Expansion Pass will gradually expand Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave through 2027. More details about each release are expected as their launch windows approach.
