Bandai Namco has officially announced Gundam Blitz Order, a free-to-play idle simulation game coming to Android and iOS devices. Although the developer has yet to confirm an official release date, a Network Test is scheduled to run from November 18 to November 24. Players interested in trying the game early can register through its official website.
The upcoming title will feature detailed Mobile Suit units from across the Mobile Suit Gundam universe, allowing fans to collect their favorite machines and build a team suited to their preferred strategies.
One of the game’s main features is its unit development system, which allows players to collect upgrade materials automatically. These resources can then be used to level up multiple units simultaneously, reducing the need to improve each Mobile Suit individually.
Newly acquired units can also be deployed directly into battle. Players can then focus on strengthening their preferred machines and preparing their teams for increasingly challenging encounters. This progression system is designed to complement the game’s idle simulation mechanics, allowing development to continue without requiring constant manual input.
Gundam Blitz Order also offers extensive team-building options. Players can assemble squads featuring Mobile Suits, battleships, and Mobile Armors from different Gundam series. Each unit comes with its own characteristics, abilities, and EX Skills, giving players different ways to approach combat.
Choosing the right combination of units will be essential for developing effective strategies. Players will need to consider how their machines complement one another and make the most of their individual abilities to overcome difficult opponents.
Beyond standard battles, the game will include several additional activities, such as boss encounters and battles involving battleship escort missions. These challenges provide different objectives and encourage players to adapt their team compositions depending on the situation.
Outside combat, players can continue developing their Mobile Suits and collecting iconic items inspired by the broader Gundam franchise. These activities add further progression opportunities while supporting the game’s central idle gameplay loop.
With its combination of automatic resource collection, customizable squads, and familiar mecha from across the franchise, Gundam Blitz Order aims to offer a new mobile experience for Gundam fans.
The Network Test will take place from November 18 to November 24, while the full release date remains unannounced. Bandai Namco is expected to share additional information as development progresses.
