Spirit Circle TV Anime Set for December 2026, Announces 18-Episode Run

Satoshi Mizukami’s Spirit Circle manga is officially receiving a TV anime adaptation, scheduled to premiere in December 2026. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser visual and the anime’s first promotional video, revealing its main cast and production staff.

The anime will run for 18 episodes and follows Fuuta Okeya, a 14-year-old boy who can see ghosts. His life takes an unexpected turn when Kouko Ishigami, a new transfer student, notices a mysterious mark hidden beneath the bandage on his cheek. Kouko reveals that the two are connected through multiple past lives and begins targeting Fuuta over a grudge carried across reincarnations.

Main Cast and Theme Song

The announced cast includes:

Kazuki Ura as Fuuta Okeya

Anna Nagase as Kouko Ishigami

Eri Yukimura as Rune

Yuichi Nakamura as East

Nagase will also perform the ending theme, titled “Koko ga Donna Sekai demo.” The song marks her first solo vocal performance.

Production Staff

Tatsuo Sato serves as director and series composer, with Kentaro Mizuno as assistant director and Satoru Fujimoto handling character designs. Animation is being co-produced by NAGOMI and EOTA, while TWIN ENGINE is producing the series.

Sato, known for directing anime such as Martian Successor Nadesico, Bodacious Space Pirates, and Stellvia, passed away in April 2026. Spirit Circle became his final directorial work.

Following Sato’s passing, production continued under Mizuno and the remaining staff, who completed the series while carrying forward his direction and creative vision for the project.

With its December 2026 premiere approaching, Spirit Circle will bring Mizukami’s story of reincarnation, supernatural mysteries, and unresolved past-life conflicts to television.
