Hiragi-san’s House of VampiresManga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

Miki Yoshikawa’s Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires manga is officially receiving a TV anime adaptation. The project will be produced by TMS’s Unlimited Produce, though details such as the premiere date, staff, and cast have yet to be announced.

Yoshikawa is known for creating A Couple of Cuckoos, which has also received an anime adaptation. Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires offers a different take on family, blending cozy comedy, romance, and supernatural elements.

Manga Began as a One-Shot in 2019

Yoshikawa first introduced Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires as a one-shot in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2019. The series later moved to Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in 2021, where it has continued its serialization.

The manga currently has six volumes in circulation. It is also available digitally in English through Kodansha’s K Manga platform.

A New Kind of Family

The story follows Shota Minamoto, a junior-high school student who grew up as an orphan in a children’s home. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is adopted by a family living in a luxurious traditional Japanese estate.

The family welcomes Shota warmly, allowing him to gradually feel at home. However, beneath their kindness lies a secret that they must never reveal to the outside world.

The series is described as a “cozy, bloody love comedy,” exploring an unusual family dynamic through supernatural mystery and romance. With the anime adaptation now confirmed, further information about the production and release schedule is expected to be revealed in the future.
