Otaku Vampire’s Love Bite Anime Adaptation Announced With Teaser Visual

Julietta Suzuki’s shojo manga Otaku Vampire’s Love Bite is officially receiving a TV anime adaptation. A teaser visual and special announcement trailer have been released to celebrate the news.

The anime’s studio, staff, cast, and premiere date have yet to be revealed. Further details are expected to be announced at a later date.

Manga Currently Has 10 Volumes in Circulation

Otaku Vampire’s Love Bite has been serialized in Hakusensha’s shojo manga magazine Hana to Yume since November 2022. The series currently has 10 volumes in circulation, with its 11th volume scheduled to be released this month.

Julietta Suzuki is also known for creating Kamisama Kiss, which received a TV anime adaptation in 2012.

Viz Media publishes the manga in English, with nine volumes currently available. The publisher describes the story as following Hina, a devoted fan who spends much of her time collecting merchandise of her favorite character, Mao. Her obsession leaves her disappointed whenever she misses out on themed cafés, especially because she has no human friend who can enjoy the food on her behalf.

Hina’s difficulty connecting with other people begins to change when she literally runs into her neighbor, Kyuta—a prickly boy who looks remarkably like Mao. Seeing the possibility of having her best friend living next door, Hina sets out to convince him to become her friend.

With the anime now confirmed, fans can look forward to seeing Suzuki’s romantic comedy brought to the screen. However, viewers will have to wait for more information about the adaptation’s production and release plans.
