Digimon Alysion Opens Pre-Registration on Google Play and App Store

Bandai Namco has officially opened pre-registration for Digimon Alysion on Google Play and the App Store. The upcoming mobile game is a digital adaptation of the physical Digimon Card Game, allowing players to collect Digimon cards, build custom decks, and compete against other players in online battles.

Unlike the physical card game, Digimon Alysion will introduce several features designed specifically for mobile devices. These include animated Digimon evolutions, streamlined battles, and enhanced visual effects intended to make matches more engaging and accessible.

Bandai Namco has also confirmed that the game will feature original cards, new Digimon, and previously unseen characters, offering additional content beyond the existing card game.

Digimon Alysion Shares Its Universe With Digimon Liberator

One of the game’s notable features is its connection to Digimon Liberator, the official web manga centered on the Digimon Card Game universe.

Both projects share the same setting, creating opportunities for connections between their stories, characters, and lore. The addition of original characters and Digimon could further expand this shared universe.

However, the extent of the narrative connections between the game and the manga has yet to be fully detailed.

New Features and Physical Card Game Tie-In

Bandai Namco has also made several changes to the game following earlier presentations. Confirmed improvements include a redesigned user interface, player-versus-player battles against friends, and support for additional languages.

The project will also receive a physical starter deck themed around Digimon Alysion, scheduled for release in December 2026. This tie-in connects the mobile game with the physical card game and gives collectors another way to engage with the project.

The planned starter deck has prompted speculation that the mobile game could launch before or around the end of 2026. However, Bandai Namco has not confirmed an official release date, so the timing remains uncertain.

With pre-registration now available on both major mobile platforms, Digimon Alysion is moving closer to release. Its combination of digital card battles, original content, and connections to Digimon Liberator could make it an appealing option for both existing card game players and fans of the wider Digimon franchise.
