Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Switch 2
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade launched on Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026. The enhanced edition reimagines the opening portion of the original 1997 Final Fantasy VII, following Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER operative who now works as a mercenary.
Cloud joins Avalanche, a resistance group fighting against the Shinra Electric Power Company, which exploits the planet’s life energy, known as Mako, to fuel its operations.
The Switch 2 edition also includes Episode INTERmission, additional content that follows Yuffie Kisaragi on a separate mission.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Continues the Journey
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth arrived on the platform on June 3, 2026. The sequel continues Cloud and his companions’ adventure beyond Midgar, featuring larger environments, additional playable characters, and a variety of new activities.
The sale offers players a chance to catch up on both games ahead of the trilogy’s conclusion, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, which is scheduled to launch on April 8, 2027.
