Opera GX has announced a new collaboration with SEGA that gives Persona 5: The Phantom X players access to an exclusive in-game reward. As part of the limited-time promotion, eligible players can claim a ★4 Phantom Idol Select Ticket, allowing them to directly choose one ★4 character without relying on the game’s gacha system.
The reward is available globally for a limited period through Opera GX’s GX Rewards feature. Players can participate by downloading Opera GX or installing the dedicated Persona 5: The Phantom X GX Mod, after which they can redeem the ticket through GX Rewards.
The ★4 Phantom Idol Select Ticket gives players a choice between 12 different ★4 characters. The available options are Lufel, Motoha Arai, Shun Kano, Leo Kamiyama, Kayo Tomiyama, Tomoko Noge, Kiyoshi Kurotani, Yukimi Fujikawa, Seiji Shiratori, Toshiya Sumi, Kotone Montagne, and Miyu Sahara.
Character selection plays an important role in Persona 5: The Phantom X, particularly when players are building teams for different encounters and gameplay situations. While acquiring specific characters would normally depend on the game’s gacha mechanics, this promotional ticket provides a guaranteed way to obtain one of the featured ★4 Phantom Idols.
This makes the reward particularly useful for players who have been looking for a specific character to complement their existing lineup. Rather than spending resources on random pulls, players can simply select the character that best fits their current team composition.
The collaboration is also part of Opera GX’s broader effort to bring exclusive gaming content to its users through GX Rewards. According to Maciej Wójcik, Senior Product Marketing Director at Opera GX, the Persona franchise has played an important role in shaping how a generation of players experiences Japanese role-playing games. He described the partnership with SEGA as another example of the experiences Opera GX aims to provide through its collaborations.
The ★4 Phantom Idol Select Ticket is currently available worldwide for a limited time, so players interested in claiming the reward will need to redeem it before the promotion ends.
