JAKARTA, Indonesia — May 20, 2026  The highly anticipated international Japanese cultural festival, Djakarta Ennichi 2026, is officially set to return to the capital city under the grand theme “New Chapter” (新章). Recognized as one of Jakarta’s largest Japanese-style matsuri festivals, the event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 23–24, 2026, at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta.
