Fans of intrigue and fantasy have reason to celebrate as the TV anime adaptation of Victoria of Many Faces (Tefuda ga Oome no Victoria) has officially announced a second season. The news broke immediately following the broadcast of its Season 1 finale. Studio Deen is set to return for the sequel’s production, though details regarding the official release date and broadcast schedule remain unconfirmed for now.
The first season recently concluded its run with an unusually short sequence of just 9 episodes. Despite the concise episode count, the series managed to captivate viewers with its unique mix of espionage mechanics and high-fantasy worldbuilding.
The story centers on Chloe, a former elite spy who attempts to leave her dangerous past behind to live a quiet, ordinary life under the new name Victoria. However, her peaceful retirement is short-lived after she settles in her new home, the Ashberry Kingdom. Victoria’s extraordinary espionage skills quickly draw unwanted attention from powerful figures across the realm, including the kingdom’s second prince and top members of an elite hunting organization. As multiple shadowed factions close in on her, Victoria must rely on her sharp intellect and deep reservoir of skills, proving that she remains the ultimate mastermind holding all the cards in her hands.
