Ubisoft might be bringing even more of its blockbuster franchises to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, according to a new promotional post that has fans buzzing.

The speculation stems from a recent image posted by Ubisoft Brazil, which asked fans: “Qual game da Ubi você gostaria de jogar no Nintendo Switch 2?” (Translation: “Which Ubisoft game would you like to play on Nintendo Switch 2?”). The image prominently features Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Rainbow Six Siege, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and Star Wars Outlaws—the last of which has already been confirmed for Switch 2, launching on September 4, 2025.

A Subtle but Strong Tease

While Ubisoft has yet to make an official announcement, the inclusion of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Rainbow Six Siege in the promotional image suggests that these titles could be heading to the Switch 2 sometime after launch. This lines up with earlier rumors, including a leak by Stealth40k and coverage by Nintendo Life, which mentioned that these two titles were being considered or tested for Nintendo’s next-gen hybrid console.

Adding fuel to the fire, Assassin’s Creed Shadows recently received an age rating, further indicating that it could be revealed soon as part of Ubisoft’s Switch 2 lineup.

Ubisoft’s Switch 2 Strategy

Although Ubisoft will not be present during the Switch 2’s June 5 launch, the company remains a key third-party partner for Nintendo. Ubisoft has a track record of supporting Nintendo hardware on day one—from the Wii to the original Switch. While missing the launch window this time, Ubisoft appears to be lining up a powerful second wave of releases.

Why It Matters

Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 will feature significantly improved hardware, making ports of more demanding titles like Rainbow Six Siege and Assassin’s Creed Mirage not only possible, but potentially seamless. These additions could help bridge the long-standing gap in third-party support and offer more variety for players who prefer Nintendo’s ecosystem.
