The excitement around Pokémon Legends: Z-A is skyrocketing, thanks to a fresh leak that teases the return—and expansion—of Mega Evolutions. Long-time Nintendo leaker Pyoro has dropped a cryptic yet clever clue that suggests the game will feature 27 brand-new Mega Evolutions.

Initially, Pyoro teased fans by referencing the “upper left corner” of a PC keyboard to hint at the total number of new Mega Evolutions. This had fans scratching their heads—until someone connected the dots. The Escape key’s ASCII code is 27, and soon after, Pyoro confirmed this interpretation was correct, calling the number “real.

A post breaking down this teaser (viewable here) further clarifies that these 27 Mega Evolutions are expected to be entirely new, possibly unique to Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This would mark a significant expansion of the Mega Evolution system, offering fresh content while paying homage to the feature’s origins.

Mega Evolutions were first introduced in Pokémon X and Y, set in the same Kalos region where Pokémon Legends: Z-A takes place. The possibility of 27 new Mega forms adds a massive twist to the upcoming title, with fans now speculating which Pokémon will receive these powerful transformations.

As always, Game Freak and Nintendo have yet to confirm any details officially, but this leak has reignited fan hype like never before. With Pokémon Legends Z-A Mega Evolutions trending, all eyes are on upcoming announcements. If this leak holds true, trainers can expect epic battles, strategic gameplay, and a fresh take on a beloved feature.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is slated for release in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, and the countdown has truly begun. Are you ready for the Mega Evolution revival?
