The long-awaited Pokemon Legends: Z-A has finally been announced, and while fans are excited for the new adventure, there’s one major concern—Mega Evolution appears to be missing yet again.

Mega Evolution, introduced in Pokemon X & Y, was one of the most popular mechanics ever added to the franchise. It allowed certain Pokemon to evolve temporarily into more powerful forms, giving them a fresh design and stronger stats. Many fans were hoping that Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which takes place in Kalos, the region that introduced Mega Evolution, would bring it back.
However, Game Freak has remained silent on the subject, leading many to believe that Mega Evolution won’t be included in this new title. This is especially frustrating for fans who have been waiting for its return after it was absent in Pokemon Sword & Shield and Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
