I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too, also known as Iseleve, has revealed its first trailer for Season 2, alongside a January 2027 premiere window. The sequel was initially announced in March during AnimeJapan, confirming the return of Yuya Tenjo’s fantasy adventure.
Studio Millepensee will once again handle the animation production. Director Shin Itagaki and character designer Hiromi Kimura are also returning for the second season, maintaining the creative team behind the anime’s previous installment.
Season 2 Continues Yuya Tenjo’s Journey
The upcoming season will continue the story following Yuya’s battle against the Fist Saint, after which he acquires a new power connected to the Evil. Although this ability gives him another advantage, Yuya must learn how to control and make the mysterious power his own.
Meanwhile, the forces of Evil continue to grow stronger, setting the stage for new challenges as Yuya’s journey progresses between the fantasy world and his original life on Earth.
The sequel will also introduce additional characters voiced by two well-known Japanese voice actresses.
Ikumi Hasegawa joins the cast as Iris Knowblade, while Sora Amamiya will voice Mai Kagurazaka. Both characters are expected to play important roles in the events of the new season.
New Characters Join the Cast
Iris Knowblade is known as the Sword Saint and is considered one of the strongest Saints. A skilled swordswoman who seeks a man stronger than herself, Iris becomes interested in Yuya after encountering him during an official match. Their meeting is expected to introduce a new dynamic as Yuya faces another formidable opponent.
Mai Kagurazaka, meanwhile, shares a connection with Yuya and Kaori because she originally comes from the real world. Before being summoned to another world as the Saintess, Mai served as a shrine maiden. She also possesses a special ability that allows her to purify Evil, making her power particularly relevant to the growing threat.
With its first trailer now available, Iseleve Season 2 is preparing to bring Yuya back for another adventure filled with powerful abilities, new characters, and dangerous enemies.
The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027. Further details about the release date and additional cast members have yet to be announced.
