The highly anticipated Heaven Burns Red and Persona 5 Royal collaboration has finally received a global release date. Titled “Operation Takanawa Mementos ～Wake Your Heart～,” the crossover event will launch internationally on October 8, 2026, bringing an original story featuring the Phantom Thieves to players outside Japan.
The event originally ran in Japan from May 22 to June 19, 2026. Its global release will now give international players the opportunity to experience the crossover story, which was developed with ATLUS supervision to ensure that its narrative fits within the Persona universe.
In the collaboration scenario, Ruka Kayamori, Tsukasa Tojo, and Eileen Redmayne investigate a mysterious anomaly at Takanawa Gateway Station. Their investigation leads them into an unfamiliar space, where they encounter several members of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 Royal, including Morgana, Queen, and Violet.
Joker will also appear during the collaboration story. However, the protagonist of Persona 5 will not be available as a playable character.
Players can obtain Morgana, referred to as Mona during the event, after completing the first day of the collaboration story. Meanwhile, Queen will be introduced through the first collaboration gacha alongside a special style for Tsukasa Tojo. Violet will then become available during the second part of the event.
The crossover will also feature several songs from Persona 5 Royal. One of the highlights is “Life Will Change,” which will receive a new performance by She is Legend, the fictional band featured in Heaven Burns Red.
Beyond the crossover story and characters, players can also earn up to 10,000 Quartz through various event campaigns. Rewards will be distributed through login bonuses and special missions during the collaboration period.
With “Operation Takanawa Mementos ～Wake Your Heart～” launching on October 8, Heaven Burns Red players outside Japan will finally have the chance to experience a collaboration that was previously exclusive to the Japanese version.
