Unlike standard challenges, these cosmetics don’t appear on any in-game menu. Instead, players must complete a clever Black Ops 7 easter egg.

Find glowing red loot chests around Verdansk. These chests stand out with a smoky red aura.

Open the chest to trigger a swarm of glowing red butterflies.

Additional Black Ops 7 Teasers in Warzone
The butterfly event isn’t the only teaser added. Players can visit the TV Station POI, where a video plays featuring Raul Menendez, the returning villain from Black Ops 2. Watching the clip rewards players with a Black Ops 7 calling card.
Alongside Menendez’s chilling appearance, fans also spotted references to David Mason, confirming his return as the protagonist in the upcoming game. Black Ops 7 will continue the story directly after the events of Black Ops 2, set in 2035.
