The upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel “Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiai sareru” — officially titled “The Villainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom” — has been confirmed to premiere in Winter 2026.
The story centers on Tiararose, a noblewoman whose engagement is suddenly annulled. She later discovers that she is actually a reincarnated woman from Japan, now living inside the world of an otome game. Unfortunately, the role she has been given is that of the game’s villainess, whose predetermined route ends in a tragic death. To change her fate, Tiararose must navigate the dangerous path of love, politics, and destiny to survive the world she once only knew as a game.
The series is being produced by Studio Deen, known for its work on hit anime such as “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!” and “Log Horizon.” The adaptation is expected to air with 12 to 13 episodes during the Winter 2026 anime season.
Fans have already drawn comparisons between this title and “7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!” due to their similar themes of reincarnation, villainess redemption, and royal romance.
With its blend of fantasy, romance, and dramatic storytelling, The Villainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated anime series of the upcoming Winter 2026 lineup.
