StarSavior has officially announced its large-scale Half Anniversary update, scheduled to launch on May 28, 2026 through a major event titled “Wedding Wars.”
The update will introduce two brand-new Savior characters:
- Eternal Promise: Carmen, who becomes the game’s first limited Savior
- and Blessing in Bloom: Epindel, planned to arrive during the third week of the event
The announcement immediately attracted strong attention from the community due to the huge amount of rewards being prepared for players during the celebration.
According to the update details, players will receive:
- 200 free gacha tickets
- an SSR Savior Selection Box
- an SSR Arcana Selection Box
- and a special coupon code: STARHALFANNIVSAVIOR
Beyond the event rewards themselves, the Half Anniversary patch will also introduce multiple quality-of-life improvements targeting several core gameplay systems.
These changes reportedly include updates for:
- gear progression
- Journey mechanics
- crafting systems
- and balance adjustments aimed at making SR Savior units relevant again in higher-level content
Many players have already praised the direction of the update, especially because improving lower-rarity characters has become a frequent request from the community since launch.
However, the feature that instantly became one of the most discussed additions online is the newly added “torn clothes” battle effect. The visual effect reportedly causes character outfits to become damaged during combat under certain conditions, quickly sparking heavy reactions and discussion across social media and fan communities.
Because of this, the “Wedding Wars” update is now shaping up to become one of the game’s most heavily promoted and talked-about events so far.
With new limited characters, massive free rewards, gameplay improvements, and controversial cosmetic additions, StarSavior appears to be aiming for a major boost in player activity and community attention during its Half Anniversary celebration.
