After years of anticipation, Coffee Stain Studios has officially announced that Satisfactory is coming to consoles on November 4, 2025. The launch marks a major milestone for the hit factory-building simulator, which has been in development for nearly a decade.
From Early Access to Console Launch
Satisfactory originally entered early access in March 2019, quickly becoming one of the biggest indie success stories of the last decade. After years of updates and community-driven improvements, version 1.0 was finally released in September 2024. Around that time, Coffee Stain revealed its plans to bring the game beyond PC.
Now, with a confirmed release date, console players can finally look forward to joining the Satisfactory community and experiencing the ultimate factory-building adventure.
Available Platforms
On November 4, Satisfactory will launch on:
-
PlayStation 5
-
Xbox Series X/S
-
PlayStation 4
-
Xbox One
Despite being nearly 12 years old, last-gen consoles will still get the port, ensuring a wider audience can enjoy the game.
Features and Updates at Launch
The console editions will launch with the Satisfactory 1.1 update, bringing the same content that PC players currently have. In addition, Coffee Stain is including several platform-specific features:
-
Cross-play support between PlayStation and Xbox users (PC remains separate).
-
Suspend game support, letting players quickly pause progress.
-
DualSense haptic feedback and speaker integration for PS5 players.
-
Cloud saves across both PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Graphics Modes on Consoles
Like many modern console releases, Satisfactory will offer multiple graphics options at launch:
-
Quality Mode – targeting 30fps for higher visual fidelity.
-
Performance Mode – targeting 60fps for smoother gameplay.
-
Balanced Mode – aiming for 40fps as a middle ground.
Coffee Stain hasn’t confirmed whether all modes will be supported equally across every console. However, last-gen hardware (PS4/Xbox One) may be limited to 30fps due to performance constraints.
A New Era for Satisfactory
The arrival of Satisfactory on consoles represents not just an expansion of the game’s audience, but also a significant milestone for Coffee Stain Studios. With cross-play, enhanced controller features, and optimized console performance, this launch ensures that Satisfactory will continue to thrive for years to come.
