“Saijo no Osewa” Light Novel Officially Announces Anime Adaptation

November 3, 2025
The light novel “Saijo no Osewa – Takane no Hana-darakena Meimon-kou de, Gakuin Ichi no Ojou-sama (Seikatsu Nouryoku Kaimu) wo Kagenagara Osewa suru Koto ni Narimashita”, also known in English as “I Was Assigned to Take Care of the Most Talented Young Lady (with No Life Skills) at a Prestigious School Full of High Achievers,” has officially been announced to receive an anime adaptation. As of now, the manga adaptation of the series has released 31 chapters, exploring several dramatic storylines involving noble families and political figures.

The story highlights how young girls from aristocratic backgrounds are often treated as mere tools or assets in business and political dealings, rather than as real daughters with their own emotions and dreams. The anime adaptation was officially announced on October 30, 2025, though details regarding the animation studio or production committee have not yet been revealed to the public.

Fans are currently waiting for more information about the staff, cast, and release format. It is speculated that the upcoming anime will consist of 12 to 13 episodes, which is a standard format for new adaptations.

However, given that the light novel currently spans 11 volumes, there is a strong possibility that the anime could extend to 24 or even 25 episodes if it performs well and receives enough support from viewers. With its blend of romance, drama, and social intrigue, “Saijo no Osewa” has already captured the interest of light novel and manga readers alike, and many are eager to see how its emotional and complex narrative will be brought to life through animation.
