Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod Lets Arthur Throw Jack

Arthur throws Jack Marston as a weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2 mod

A Red Dead Redemption 2 player has created one of the funniest mods to date, allowing Arthur Morgan to use young Jack Marston as a throwable weapon. The mod comes complete with ragdoll mechanics, making Jack flop around realistically when thrown at enemies, transforming Rockstar’s gritty Western epic into pure comedy.

Jack Becomes a Throwable Weapon

The bizarre mod was showcased by YouTuber Blurbs, who shared a clip on Reddit. By replacing the Tomahawk model with Jack Marston, Blurbs allowed Arthur to equip the boy in the throwable slot and hurl him at everything from outlaw gangs to giant bears. Instead of sticking to surfaces like a Tomahawk, Jack ragdolls across the ground after impact, adding to the hilarity.

Blurbs’ History of Wild Mods

This isn’t Blurbs’ first time pushing the boundaries of modding. On his Twitch and YouTube channels, he often fulfills bizarre mod requests from fans, creating content that blends chaos and comedy. In the past, he has made mods such as drunk NPCs in Red Dead Redemption 2 that turn serious cutscenes into gag reels, or giving Skyrim NPCs custom voices through Twitch chat TTS.

The Jack throwable mod is part of a longer video where Blurbs experimented with other absurd mods, including kickflipping horses, exploding corpses, and NPCs kidnapping Arthur. He even completed an entire playthrough of RDR2 with all of these mods enabled simultaneously.

The RDR2 Modding Community

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn’t have nearly as many mods as Skyrim, its community remains active, producing everything from graphical upgrades to complete gameplay overhauls. The Jack Marston throwable mod is a perfect example of the lighter side of modding — where creativity and humor collide.

Rockstar likely never intended for Jack Marston to be used as a weapon, but mods like this prove how inventive and entertaining the RDR2 community can be. For players looking to shake up their next playthrough with some laughs, this mod is a must-see.
