No Man’s Sky Experimental Branch Fixes Voyagers Update Issues

Agustus 31, 2025
No Man’s Sky Voyagers update with customizable ships and Corvette fixes in the Experimental Branch.

No Man’s Sky has rolled out a new Experimental Branch hot on the heels of its massive Voyagers update. While the expansion has been praised for introducing customizable ships and other major features, it also arrived with a range of technical issues. Volunteer players in the Experimental Branch are now the first to test fixes before they are pushed live.

Voyagers: A Landmark Update for No Man’s Sky

Released on August 27, 2025, the Voyagers update introduced one of the game’s most ambitious features yet — fully customizable Corvettes. Players can now design starships using hundreds of modular parts inside a new workshop located at space stations.

These ships come with full interiors that can be decorated and stocked with amenities, and for the first time, explorers are free to float outside their vessels in space. Alongside the ship-building system, the update added extras like the Skyborn exosuit and jetpack, cementing Voyagers as one of the most content-rich expansions in the game’s history.

Experimental Branch: Fixing Corvette Problems

Despite its success, the Voyagers update shipped with several bugs, many of them related to Corvettes. The Experimental Branch patch notes (August 29, 2025) list over 60 fixes and changes, including:

  • Docking issues with Corvettes when station bays are full.

  • Pulse drive shutting off when players leave the pilot’s seat.

  • Workshop parts becoming unusable after deletion.

  • Corvettes reacting like they’ve had a major collision in open space.

  • Visual issues such as weapon effects clipping in first-person view and cockpits displaying as solid black.

New Features in Testing

The branch isn’t just about bug fixes — it also introduces quality-of-life additions to make Corvettes more seamless within the game’s universe. Players testing the branch now have access to:

  • A teleporter in Atlas Station to quickly return to their Corvette.

  • Corvette Construction Workshops in abandoned and pirate stations.

Stability Fixes Across the Game

Beyond Corvette-specific issues, Hello Games has also patched general stability problems, addressing crashes linked to particle rendering, frigate expeditions, combat effects, autopilot, ship summoning, exocrafts, and warping.

Some new bugs are also under investigation, such as errors when switching between two Corvettes at a space station or loading the Space Anomaly with a large base.

What’s Next

These Experimental Branch fixes are expected to roll into No Man’s Sky’s main build soon, giving all players a smoother experience with Voyagers’ groundbreaking features. As always, Hello Games’ commitment to continuous support ensures that No Man’s Sky continues to evolve as one of the most ambitious and community-driven space exploration games available.
