IO Interactive, the developer behind Hitman World of Assassination, has officially confirmed a major digital showcase event set for Friday, June 6 at 6 PM PDT. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, the event will offer an exclusive look at the studio’s biggest properties, including Hitman, 007 First Light, and the upcoming open-world game MindsEye.
A Closer Look at 007 First Light
After being announced in 2020, IO Interactive has now formally unveiled its James Bond project under the title 007 First Light. While fans are still awaiting gameplay footage or cinematic trailers, the studio has confirmed that the game will feature a completely original James Bond origin story — the first of its kind. The title is being developed and published solely by IO Interactive, showing the studio’s growing independence and creative ambition.

Hitman Updates & New MindsEye Footage
In addition to 007, IO Interactive will also reveal new content for Hitman World of Assassination and showcase footage from MindsEye — an ambitious, GTA-style title developed by Build A Rocket Boy and now officially published by IOI. MindsEye is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on June 10, and fans can expect new trailers and gameplay previews during the showcase.
