New rumors suggest that HoYoverse may be developing several major projects simultaneously as the company continues expanding beyond its established RPG portfolio.
Following previous reports involving projects such as Honkai: Nexus Anima, Petit Planet, and Versapura, a new leak claims that HoYoverse is currently exploring four additional game concepts.
According to the rumored internal project descriptions, one of the most ambitious titles is said to be a Lifestyle MMO that combines life simulation, social roleplay, sandbox mechanics, and AI-driven systems. Some community members believe this project could be connected to the previously rumored codename “Nodusfall.”
Another reported project is a 3D MOBA built using Unreal Engine 5, focusing on competitive PvP gameplay and a large roster of playable characters. The rumor aligns with earlier recruitment information that suggested HoYoverse was building a team for a new multiplayer competitive title.
The remaining two projects are rumored to be:
a fantasy-themed cooperative sandbox game
and a realistic military sci-fi shooter
Perhaps the most notable detail is that all of these projects are reportedly expected to make significant use of AI technology, both for gameplay systems and internal development workflows.
If the rumors are accurate, HoYoverse could currently have as many as seven unreleased projects in various stages of development, representing one of the company’s largest expansion efforts to date.
However, it is important to note that none of these projects have been officially confirmed by HoYoverse. As a result, details regarding gameplay, platforms, release plans, and even the existence of some projects should still be treated as speculation until official announcements are made.
Even so, the rumors have generated considerable discussion within the gaming community, as they suggest HoYoverse may be preparing to expand far beyond its traditional anime RPG formula and explore a much broader range of genres in the coming years.
