The popular free-to-play multiplayer FPS Delta Force is making major moves this summer. Developer TiMi Studio Group has officially announced that the next seasonal update, titled Break, will arrive on PC and mobile on July 9, with the long-awaited console debut for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S scheduled for August 19.

Unveiled during a recent livestream, the update includes fresh maps, weapons, and a powerful new operator named Tempest, adding even more depth to the game’s tactical gameplay.

🎮 Console Release Confirmed for August 19

After nearly a year of PC exclusivity, Delta Force will finally land on consoles, bringing its fast-paced, team-based tactical shooter experience to a broader audience. The game has already made waves on Steam, recently hitting an all-time peak of 162,436 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.

Console players can expect the same high-octane combat, advanced operators, and team-based strategies that have made Delta Force one of the fastest-growing FPS titles in recent memory.

🚨 New Season “Break” Arrives July 9

Delta Force’s Break season kicks off on July 9 for PC and mobile, delivering a fresh batch of content for players:

  • New Operator: Tempest
A powerful assault-class soldier equipped with an exoskeleton for enhanced mobility and a unique drill tool designed to disarm enemies in close quarters.

  • Two New Maps
One standout is Tide Prison, an infiltration map where players must pose as prisoners and find a way to escape. The new map design supports the game’s tactical identity while pushing players to adapt and think creatively.

  • Three New Weapons
Although specifics haven’t been revealed yet, players can expect a fresh arsenal to complement new strategies.

  • Swimming and Diving Mechanics
For the first time in the series, players can now swim and dive, adding verticality and stealth options to both PvE and PvP engagements.

🔥 A Legendary FPS Returns

Originally debuting in 1998, the Delta Force franchise remained dormant after 2009’s Xtreme 2, until TiMi Studio Group—the team behind Call of Duty Mobile—revived the series in December 2024. The reboot offers modern visuals, hero-style operators, and tight squad-based action that has captivated a new generation of FPS fans.

With the Break season expanding the experience and console release just around the corner, Delta Force is positioning itself as one of the biggest names in tactical shooters this year.
