As the event approaches this weekend, Djakarta Ennichi 2026 has officially revealed its lineup of performers and competition judging panels that will fill the festival’s entertainment stages throughout the event.
Taking place at Lapangan Banteng on May 23–24, 2026, the international Japanese cultural festival will once again be held with free entry for all visitors while bringing a large-scale multi-stage concept combining traditional Japanese culture and modern pop-culture entertainment.
This year’s festival divides its entertainment into several themed stages:
Main Stage
Pop Stage
and Band Stage
The organizers stated that the goal is to unite fans of traditional Japanese arts and modern Japanese pop culture within one large celebration atmosphere in Indonesia.
National Cosplay Competition Judging Panel
To maintain credibility and ensure fair judging standards, Djakarta Ennichi 2026 has invited professional cosplayers, costume creators, and industry figures as official judges for multiple competition categories.
The event will feature:
Judges Panel for Indonesia Cosplay League 2026
Judges Panel for KNCI Grand Final
Judges Panel for Djakarta Single Cosplay Parade
These panels will evaluate participants based on costume craftsmanship, stage performance, character accuracy, creativity, and overall presentation quality.
Main Stage: Traditional Grandeur & Okinawa Session
The Main Stage will become the center for traditional Japanese cultural performances and ceremonial entertainment.
One of the highlighted attractions is the special “Okinawa Session,” which will showcase music, dance, and traditional culture originating from Okinawa, Japan’s southernmost prefecture.
Visitors can also expect large-scale cultural performances featuring:
Eisa Taiko
Yosakoi dance performances
and interactive Bon Odori parades
Pop Stage: Idol Performances & Modern Pop Culture
The Pop Stage will focus on modern Japanese pop-culture entertainment, especially local idol groups performing energetic choreography and J-Pop inspired performances.
The stage is expected to become one of the festival’s biggest gathering spots for fans wanting to participate in cheering culture and idol fan activities together.
Band Stage: J-Rock Energy & Anime Music
Meanwhile, the Band Stage will spotlight indie bands, anime cover bands, and J-Rock performances from various community groups.
Live performances will include:

modern Japanese music arrangements
and energetic rock performances designed for fans of anime music culture.
Indonesia Wotagei Battle 2026 Becomes Major Highlight
One of the most anticipated additions this year is the debut of Indonesia Wotagei Battle 2026 at Djakarta Ennichi.
The competition will gather top regional Wotagei performers from across Indonesia to compete in synchronized lightstick dance performances using cyalumes and glowing lightsticks.

movement precision
synchronization
and stage presentation
With large-scale visual lighting performances planned during nighttime sessions, the competition is expected to become one of the festival’s biggest crowd attractions this year.
