
The synopsis of the anime reads:
“When Arisu Yamabuki lies alone in bed at night, she discovers the voice of a radio host known as ‘Apollo.’ But one day, the mysterious broadcaster suddenly stops without any explanation. Years later, Arisu is now a high school student…”
The anime adaptation of “Mayonaka Hearth Tune” will be produced by Gekkou Studio, the same studio currently airing the anime “Mikata ga Yowasugite Hojo Mahou ni Tesshiteita Kyuutei Mahoushi, Tsuihou sarete Saikyou wo Mezashimasu” (“Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest”).
The production committee for “Mayonaka Hearth Tune” is NBC Universal Entertainment Japan, a company that has participated in numerous anime projects across Japan. They were also involved in the yuri-themed anime “Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau” (“Whisper Me a Love Song”), which initially began production under Cloud Hearts but was later transferred to Yokohama Animation Laboratory after its eighth episode.
As for “Mayonaka Hearth Tune”, the anime is expected to run for 12 to 13 episodes, though depending on its popularity and pacing, it could potentially be extended to 24 or 25 episodes. With its blend of romance, mystery, and emotional storytelling, many fans are looking forward to seeing how the series will unfold when it airs in January 2026.
