Following the success of its first season, the official website and social media accounts for Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten) have announced that the romantic comedy will return for a second season in April 2026. The upcoming sequel is planned to feature 12 to 13 episodes in total.
The new season will once again be produced by Project No.9, the same studio behind the anime’s first adaptation. TOHO Animation will also return as part of the production committee, ensuring a consistent tone and quality that fans of the original series have come to love.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 will continue the story of Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina, who officially became a couple at the end of the first season. The sequel will focus on their deepening relationship, exploring the warmth, honesty, and gentle moments that define their life together as lovers and friends.
Based on the popular light novel written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto, the series first captured fans’ hearts with its delicate mix of everyday romance and emotional sincerity. With the next chapter of Amane and Mahiru’s story set to air in Spring 2026, fans can look forward to more cozy, heartfelt scenes between the angel next door and the boy whose life she changed forever.
