Through its latest announcement video, Kyoto Animation officially revealed a brand-new anime project currently in production for the coming years. The studio’s newest work will be an anime film titled The Credits Roll into the Sea (Umi ga Hashiru End Roll), adapted from the completed manga series of the same name.
The original manga concluded in 2025 with a total of nine volumes, and its upcoming anime adaptation is already attracting attention among fans of emotional slice-of-life storytelling and shoujo drama.
According to the announcement, The Credits Roll into the Sea is currently scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters sometime in 2027.
