Pokémon GO is turning up the heat this spring with the debut of Gigantamax Machamp during its next Max Battle Day, scheduled for Sunday, May 25, 2025. This limited-time event will offer players a chance to battle this mighty Fighting-type in exclusive six-star Max Battles, with added chances to catch a shiny version.
👊 Gigantamax Machamp Enters the Ring
While several Dynamax Pokémon have appeared in Pokémon GO since the Max Out season began in September 2024, only eight Gigantamax forms have made their way to the game. Following popular releases like the Kanto starters and Gigantamax Snorlax, Machamp becomes the first Fighting-type Gigantamax Pokémon introduced.
Previously teased in the Might and Mastery Season trailer, Gigantamax Machamp will be available only during this one-day event and cannot be transferred to Pokémon HOME, adding a layer of exclusivity.
