In a proud moment for the Czech gaming industry, Prime Minister Petr Fiala was gifted a Collector’s Edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 during a recent visit to the historic town of Kuttenberg. The gift was presented by Mayor Lukáš Seifert, with developers Warhorse Studios sharing their gratitude for the national recognition of their latest hit game.

The visit, captured and shared on Warhorse Studios’ official Twitter account, shows a delighted Prime Minister receiving the exclusive edition as the room filled with applause from his team—some of whom were reportedly “jealous,” according to the developers.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, launched on February 4, takes players deep into 15th-century Bohemia—a richly detailed version of the land now known as the Czech Republic. The game continues the studio’s commitment to historical accuracy and immersive storytelling, and its critical and commercial success reflects that dedication.

To date, over three million copies have been sold globally, thanks to the game’s enhanced combat mechanics, expansive worldbuilding, and faithful historical themes. Fans were also treated to update 1.3 on May 15, which launched alongside the game’s first major expansion, Brushes with Death. This DLC is the first of three planned expansions for 2025, all included in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Expansion Pass—which also comes with the Collector’s Edition as a redeemable voucher.

This recognition by the Czech Prime Minister not only validates the studio’s impact at home but also showcases how video games can serve as cultural artifacts and national exports. Warhorse Studios continues to build on the legacy of the franchise with post-launch updates, promising more content and features throughout the year.

For Warhorse Studios and the Czech gaming community, this is more than just a PR moment—it’s a declaration of how far the industry has come, proudly rooted in Czech history, culture, and creative achievement.
