Hatsune Miku Asia Expo 2025 in Seoul Ends in Disappointment Due to Illegal Recording

November 30, 2025

The Hatsune Miku Asia Expo 2025 concert in Seoul, South Korea, ended on a disappointing note for many fans. Shortly after the event concluded, a full concert recording lasting 1 hour and 41 minutes surfaced on a YouTube channel, drawing criticism from various communities.

The concert was held on November 30, 2025, at Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. The event is part of Hatsune Miku’s first-ever Asia tour, which is scheduled to conclude in Taiwan. However, the appearance of an unauthorized 101-minute full-performance video—recorded by an attendee—has dampened the excitement for fans who value proper concert etiquette.

A similar incident happened in Indonesia on May 28–29, 2014, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). At that time, an individual was caught recording the 1 hour and 45 minute concert and received a lifetime ban from attending any future Hatsune Miku events.

The recurrence of such misconduct in Seoul highlights the importance of respecting concert rules to protect the experience for all fans and support the creators and organizers behind Hatsune Miku’s performances.
