FromSoftware has officially lifted the veil on new character classes for the highly anticipated Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. Unveiled during a Nintendo Direct event, this edition is set to debut alongside the next-gen Nintendo Switch 2 and includes fresh content that’s more than just a simple port.

According to a Famitsu Japan report, two new classes—tentatively named Ides Knight and Heavy Knight—will debut in Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. Both are heavily inspired by traditional medieval armor but cater to different playstyles:

Ides Knight – A swift, lightly armored class built for agility and precision. Early concept art suggests a sleek design ideal for dexterity builds.

Each class appears to have two visual variants, giving players aesthetic customization right from the start.
