The second season of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill (Japanese title: Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi) is officially set to premiere in October 2025. The story will continue to follow the laid-back yet adventurous life of Mukouda Tsuyoshi, an ordinary man summoned to a fantasy world with nothing more than the unique skill of online grocery shopping.
In Season 1, after being abandoned by the kingdom that summoned him, Tsuyoshi sets off on his own, and along the way, he encounters the legendary Fenrir named Fel and a friendly slime named Sui. Together, they embark on countless adventures, gradually becoming living legends in the isekai world.
Their fame spreads quickly, largely due to their incredible monster hunts—defeating creatures ranging from wyverns to guardian dragons. Season 2 will continue to focus on their monster-hunting adventures, while maintaining the light-hearted and charming campfire cooking elements that fans loved in the first season. As always, Tsuyoshi’s magical meals remain at the heart of their travels.
The anime will once again be produced by Studio MAPPA, the same studio behind the first season. Season 2 is expected to have 12 or 13 episodes, continuing the same production quality and tone.
