Cinder City Lowers Recommended PC System Requirements Following Community Feedback

Big Fire Games has updated the recommended PC system requirements for its upcoming action title Cinder City after receiving widespread feedback from the gaming community regarding the game’s unusually demanding hardware specifications.

When the game’s Steam page first went live, players quickly noticed that the listed memory requirements were exceptionally high, with 32 GB of RAM required as the minimum specification and 64 GB of RAM recommended. The hardware requirements sparked criticism across social media and gaming forums, with many users questioning whether the figures were accurate or simply the result of poor optimization.

In response to the discussions, the development team confirmed that the original specifications were incorrect and later revised the recommended requirements to more realistic levels. The update reassured players that the previous memory requirements were posted in error rather than reflecting the game’s actual performance needs.

Cinder City is an open-world third-person action shooter set in a near-future version of Seoul. Players will battle powerful enemies while exploring a devastated city through cinematic storytelling, fast-paced combat, and a variety of weapons and character abilities. The game is currently in development by Big Fire Games and will be released for PC via Steam.

Although an official launch date has not yet been announced, the updated system requirements have helped ease concerns among prospective players. With the clarification now in place, the developers are expected to share additional gameplay details and future announcements as development continues toward release.
