ANOMALITH Demo Now Available for Free on PS5, Switch 2, and PC

FuRyu has released a new free demo for its upcoming survival third-person shooter, ANOMALITH. The demo is now available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, giving players an opportunity to experience the opening portion of the game before its full release.

Players who complete the official demo can also unlock the ability to develop part of the “Armed JK” outfit, which is exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition. However, progress made during the demo will not carry over to the full version of ANOMALITH.

The game takes place in a mysterious version of Japan where dangerous phenomena known as Anomaly Zones have suddenly appeared. Players take control of 17-year-old Reona Minazuki, who becomes a Diver while searching for her missing friend inside one of these unstable areas.

Survival is at the heart of ANOMALITH’s third-person combat. Players must carefully manage their ammunition, select the right firearm for each situation, and decide which resources are worth collecting during every Dive. When an Anomaly becomes stunned, Reona can also perform a melee finisher, allowing players to conserve valuable bullets.

Reona has another major advantage through 12 Anomalization skills. These abilities allow her to transform into different types of anomalies, providing additional options during combat and potentially changing the outcome of difficult encounters.

The skills can be obtained and upgraded through the Demi-Humanization System, while firearms can be customized using various attachments to accommodate different playstyles. Players can also discover artifacts within Anomaly Zones that improve Reona’s stats and help her become better prepared for future missions.

The survival experience extends beyond firefights. Players must explore reality-bending environments, manage limited inventory space, and determine when it is safer to return to Base with their collected resources. Materials recovered during Dives can then be used for character progression and preparation for subsequent expeditions.

The new ANOMALITH demo arrives ahead of the game’s October 29 release. This marks the first playable demo specifically released for the targeted console platforms, while the existing Steam demo has also received an update.FuRyu has released a new free demo for its upcoming survival third-person shooter, ANOMALITH.
